Flight Description

Buckle up and be ready for a Day Away like no other as you land at Kingfisher Bay Resort VIP Style!

As you lift off enjoy views of the Urangan Pier, Boat Harbour, Torquay and Scarness Beaches and the Hervey Bay township. Then head to Moon Point, passing over Pelican Banks admiring the turquoise water and pure white sand, flying between Big Woody & Little Woody Islands.  Taking in the unique beauty of the Great Sandy Straits as you  make your way to the famous Lake McKenzie taking in its natural beauty from above before landing at Kingfisher Bay Resort. Spotting turtles, sharks and whales! (Whales August to November)

Once at the resort you will enjoy complimentary lunch and a drink at the Sandbar Cafe. You have full use of the resort facilities.

All that's left to do is sit back and relax!

Returning to Hervey Bay via the barge at either 2:30pm or 5pm - your choice. There is also a bus available to transfer you to the airport or accommodation. Or choose a Helicopter return for an additional $250.

Even though it was a windy day, the flight was very enjoyable. The views were fantastic! We did the 15-minute flight which was great value for money - got to fly out to Fraser, and back via the coast. Aimee and Nathan were very friendly and accommodating with booking times, and even called to let us know they were running a little behind schedule to make sure we didn't arrive too early. Would highly recommend it!

A must do . Fantastic flight, 30 mimutes over Fraser island and around to see the area. Covers most of Frazer ( it's big ) and Nathan gives great commentary. Cost is very reasonable but lash out you will have great memories and photos. If never been in a helicopter before just do it wonderful experience
